THE MAGICAL ART OF
My goal is to capture the essence of you and your day in the most beautiful way possible.
I would say my work has a strong editorial and fashion influence.
At the start of your day before you are camera ready I love to get creative and style all your gorgeous uniquely chosen details. Your flowers, rings, ring boxes, shoes, perfume, fabrics, dress, wedding invites or other stationery. I love to work together creativity with my clients so that this part is styled and photographed just as beautiful as the details you spent months sourcing.
With a high-fashion style; our bride and groom portraits are full of laughter, elegance and romance.
I love guiding you both into beautiful poses and capturing your love and interactions.
Don’t worry, this is where I shine!!! You will get lots of tips and direction to make you look and feel great. Just relax and enjoy!
Yes I do. I understand that most weddings require a certain number of group photos therefore I dedicate a small amount of time to getting these shots done as efficiently as possible.
For full day weddings, I would encourage you to have no more than around eight group shots, which can take around 15-30 minutes. A helpful bridesmaid or usher can help during this time by rounding up the guests on your list whilst I focus on making sure everyone looks great on the photos.
Each wedding is unique so it’s hard to say an exact number. For smaller elopements as a rough guide my clients receive around 30-40 full resolution images per each hour of photography booked.
We will endeavour to have your photographs ready and delivered to you within 10 weeks. Requested rush delivery of editing (Jump to the top of the queue) will incur an extra charge.
Please feel free to inform me of 1-2 images that stood out for you during the wedding day. I will send you those as previews within 1-5 days after the photo-shoot. I’m always showing clients the back of the camera… so just tell me ‘That ONE!!’ 🙂
For the full collection: We edit and deliver each wedding fairly in order of shoot date in order for us to deliver your images within the 10 weeks.
If you wish to see your full collection images quicker, a rush delivery of editing fee (Jump to the top of the queue) is available at 800€ for events less than 8 hours and 1000€ for events less than 14 hours.
We use online transfer services to upload and send you your photographs via the client section of the ClaireMorrisPhotography website. You will receive email notification of this. From this link you will be able download your photographs to your computer.
If you wish to purchase any additional products such as our luxury albums or print boxes please ask for further information.
Once your lovely photographs have been delivered through our online gallery system. You will be guided to choose your favourite images. Through the ”Select My Favourites’ Option. When you have finished selecting you can then save this and select ”Send Favourites to Admin” This would send me all your selected images that you would like to appear in your album.
From there we begin the design process. You will be sent proofs of the final design. Once you are happy with the proof, this layout design is then sent to our album suppliers who hand make your beautiful album. It takes 3-4 weeks for them to hand make your album.
I aim to get everything as perfect as possible in camera. Images are edited in terms of exposure, cropping, colour, tone and contrast to my specific editing style.
Any retouching including skin airbrushing, image manipulation or re- construction requested by the client will incur an additional charge per image.
Hiring a top professional hair and makeup artist DOES make a huge difference. They know how to get you camera ready and looking and feeling like a celebrity. I can happily recommend my favourite vendors.
Take the opportunity to be pampered. Look and feel like a movie star for the day on YOUR one and only big day!!!!
Every wedding is unique. The collections show only guidance on time coverage.
We recommend for portraits in Paris taking 2+ hours out of your day. 2 hours would allow for around 2-3 near by locations. For more locations or for locations more spread around Paris please add more hours to your collection.
Please remember Paris is huge and getting around from location to location will take valuable time.
For getting ready photographs – It usually takes me 30 mins to creatively capture your special details. Then 1 hour to creatively capture the brides getting ready story in a creative way. For the groom it’s much quicker 30 mins +.
A first look can take around 15 minutes. Seriously these things take much longer than you imagine. Clients forget the walking there… setting up cameras etc.
Don’t forget to add buffer time… 100% of the time weddings run late at the getting ready stage.
Absolutely! Tell us your absolute preferred locations and let me design the rest!
You could also leave the portraits entirely in our creative hands… if you would like something unique.
Upon booking, all creative details will be planned together.
The client is responsible for all transportation expenses for photography crew. Your wedding planner may help you organise this.
** Please Note: I have an assistant so it’s necessary to consider 2 seats in your chosen transport for us.**
Otherwise you are welcome to hire a chauffeur service or use UBER. UBER isn’t always the best choice as waiting time can sometimes vary. A chauffeur Van is the most efficient recommended transportation for space and ease.
Please note: The Eiffel Tower is outside of the city centre. To give you an idea of location; Louvre to the Eiffel Tower and is 15-20 minutes drive in good traffic.
Talk to me if you need advise about the best time of day for your portraits session in Paris. Light and other variables change throughout the year. If you are requiring a specific location this may need to be photographed at a certain time of the day. As a rule it’s best to avoid outdoor mid day harsh light (12-4PM) during the summer months. My favourite times to start shooting are 1 to 2 hours after sunrise and 2-3 hours leading into sunset. Depending on the length of your photo-shoot.
Please please please don’t watch the weather until 24 hours before your big day. It’s 90% of the time wrong. I’ve had a bride crying on the phone with me 2 weeks before their big day because the weather showed rain. Then on the big day it was beautiful sunshine. Watching the weather in advance just causes unnecessary stress if it’s not the news you want to see.
If it does rain it’s not bad either.
Paris is very romantic in the rain. Be flexible and smile about it! Bring an umbrella for some cute and wonderful photos. If the rain is strong, we’ll try and re-jig the itinerary where possible. During portraits we could stop for a coffee and wait out the intensity. This makes for cute cafe photos too. There are also some beautiful Paris locations under cover, under arches and under bridges. In some cases, changing your start time, or rescheduling may be considered pending agreement and availability.
You will receive the digital photographs licensed to you for Personal Use.
Personal Use = printing, sharing or displaying electronically with family and friends. You may print the images as many times as you like for yourselves and friends and family. You can also make your own photograph albums should you wish to. The images are full resolution and do not have any water marking.
