This gorgeous couple had a secret elopement at the Armenian Church in Paris. Their elopement began at Hotel Les Bains, which is a 5-star luxury hotel with a contemporary vibe. This hotel is youthful yet it has plenty of history. Opening in 1885 this hotel was originally a thermal bath, becoming Paris’s first luxury spa, where the likes of Marcel Proust were known to take a dip. Then in the 70s, it became a world-famous nightclub, that hosted the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Katie Moss, Prince, and many more famous faces. Today it has become a space influenced by modern art and fashion which you can see reflected throughout the hotel.
We took some very stylish portraits of our groom in the Roxo Bar. It has walls lined with bottles and orange light, it’s warm glow created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Our amazing groom worked in Hollywood on sets so he was full of character in front of the camera, was incredible to capture.
Joined by two close friends the couple took their vows at the Armenian Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. I must say with all the gold and the stunning large chandelier it took my breath away. It was the perfect venue for our gorgeous couple.
No elopement at the Armenian Church in Paris would be complete without a photo-shoot around the city. Paris really does spoil us for choice, almost every corner is photogenic. M and T decided on three of my top locations (read my blog Top 10 Paris Wedding Locations here), L’avenue de Camoëns, Jardin des tuileries and Pont Alexandre III.
After the shoot ended Mariya and Tom drove off to the famous french restaurant Lasserre for their private dinner for two.
