Some hotels offer exceptional spaces for an intimate elopement ceremony, like private terraces with Eiffel Tower views or charming gardens and reception rooms.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Many couples opt for the legal marriage in their home country and a symbolic ceremony in Paris to simplify the process while still enjoying the romantic ambiance of the city.
To legally marry in Paris you must be living in Paris for 45 days prior to your elopement.

Consider the weather and the atmosphere you desire. Spring and fall are popular for mild weather and blooming flowers, winter for a cozy setting, and plan summer elopements in the morning or late afternoon/evening to avoid extreme heat.
Consider scheduling your elopement on a weekday. Weekends often have higher rates, and many vendors primarily book elopements on weekdays.

BOOK YOUR VIDEOGRAPHER
Having a film of your elopement is crucial. Elopement clients often throw a celebratory reception upon return, and a video/photo screening lets you share the moment with absent loved ones. Plus, it helps capture and relive the ceremony's emotions and words amid the excitement and nerves.

Embrace the enchanting allure of Paris as the "City of Light" by incorporating nighttime elopement photography into your plans. Capturing Paris by night is a personal favorite of mine, as the city becomes quieter, and the lights of the city turn on, enhancing the romantic atmosphere. However, it's advisable to avoid scheduling night shoots from May to August when the sun sets very late, typically after 9 pm.
