Featured in the high-fashion blog ‘Over The Moon’, prepare to be enchanted by the romance and opulence of a high-fashion Paris wedding at the iconic Ritz.
Welcome to the epitome of elegance and sophistication, where haute couture meets the timeless allure of Paris. Prepare to be enchanted by the romance and opulence of a high-fashion Paris wedding at the iconic Ritz. Nestled in the heart of the city, this legendary venue sets the stage for Mary and Timothy’s celebration where luxury and love intertwine in a celebration that will forever be etched in your heart.
“Our happily ever after will inspire others who have gone through heartache, loss, and grief. We both overcame so very much and found a second chance at love and romance with, literally, the boy/girl next door!
We grew up in neighboring towns in Southern New Jersey, went to rival high schools, spent our summers on the beaches and boardwalk in Ocean City, and had several friends in common…Only we never met until we were 45 years old!” …. Continued
“Timothy and I met by chance on a perfect summer Sunday evening at The Waterfront in Somers Point, NJ. We were in town visiting our families for the 4th of July holiday and separately headed out with childhood friends for reggae night
Having both moved away from South Jersey in our early twenties and lived very different lives. I was a fashion stylist and had been married to a well-known gaming industry executive, the former CEO of Mohegan Sun. Timothy moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, later to become one of the top real estate agents in the luxury market.”
I had been widowed for a little over 3 years and had just started to think about dating. Timothy was recently divorced and was in NJ with his daughter for their annual trip back east. Neither one of us had any intention of meeting someone that night. It was a true serendipity when we did meet and quickly found out that we had been one step away from each most of our lives. We instantly bonded over our connections and developed a deep friendship that turned into a long-distance relationship for the next year and a half.” words by Mary the bride
Timothy wanted to do the first look outside the Ritz. As their incredible wedding car was parked outside and Timothy standing there waiting looking incredible a crowd had formed… in anticipation of a celebrity. 🙂 I’ve never seen that happen before for a first look so it was quite fun. And luckily Timothy and Mary knew how to work a crowd. This made great memories for the couple.
The couple opted to do a ‘first look’ followed by a small photoshoot at Pont Alexandre with the Eiffel Tower so that after their ceremony they could spend quality time with their guests at the cocktail.
Their wedding car traveled all the way from Germany to chauffeur them on their special day.
The groom entered with his daughter to the ceremony.
Throughout the wedding day, I always find an appropriate time to capture some guest portraits. As it was a small guest count (only 30 guests) there was a perfect moment to capture guests walking into the ceremony room.
The bride walked down the aisle with her brother and the groom’s daughter officiated, creating an emotional ceremony.
The garden at the Ritz is a wonderful backdrop for some truly elegant family portraits on the wedding day.
A guest brought out a copy of a photograph from Timothy’s earlier modellling days.
