Jezy & Torin from Taiwan came to Paris to celebrate their recent engagement with a pre-wedding photo-shoot.

JEZY shares their magical love story: 

Believe in the magic, don’t ignore the person sitting at your table at a wedding, he/she could be your Mr. or Mrs. Right! We first met in Los Angeles 8 years ago, but it wasn’t until 2 years ago that we reconnected at our friend’s wedding, and we were “set up” to sit at the same table, and then the love story begins!

THE PROPOSAL 

Our proposal story is more like a fairytale dream. The proposal was planned and executed by the entire family, for months!!

From looking for the perfect ring, the story, setup, and brining all my closet friends and family together, it was the sweetest proposal ever. I was brought up to the rooftop, and when the elevator opens,  my favourite tulip flowers were right in my eyes, with candle lights of our initials T & J, and a beautiful backdrop of our photos, like walking through the memory line of our love story…

As you can imagine, I was asked to close my eyes, and when I opened my eyes… it was THAT cliche moment when all the girls would cover their mouth and act surprised (no I swear I didn’t act, I was shocked!) — down on one knee and then… THAT QUESTION- “Jezy, will you marry me?”

All the romantic talk and background music were gone and my mind was blank for second, and it felt like time was frozen for a long time, until he took out the ring and I said the magic word- YES!

Right at that second, the remix of our favourite music hit, and guess what….all my family and friends popped out from different corners and at the same moment… FIREWORKS on the rooftop!!! YES, I GOT MY OWN FIREWORKS!!!! It was the most romantic proposal ever!

Our Paris pre-wedding photo-shoot was right after our engagement… we needed to make a trip to Paris to check out our wedding venue, so I thought why not to arrange photo-shoot while we are in such a romantic city. It was an spontaneous idea that I thought why not just bring a white dress and take some beautiful pictures as we travel.

The photos turned out better than anything ever! We were very lucky to find Claire Morris (via instagram * And Thanks to my great friend- Mimmi for hunting Claire down). Claire recommended Onorina Jomir (Honorine Makeup Studios), both are extremely professional and talented, that we are all very pleased to see how the result came out. Especially there is one with our signature pose right in front the Eiffel Tower, that was a perfect moment that Claire captured, a moment that will always be treasured by both of us!
