Our Bride Bradlee started her day by getting ready in her own private suite at the Ritz Paris. The Suite Vendome contained historical vibes with hints of gold and green. The notes of green carried on through to the garden which saw the couple make their vows to one another underneath a chuppah, which was decorated with delicate white flowers, creating an ethereal canopy in which to say “I do” underneath.
Quote from our bride Bradlee “The remainder of our colour palette simply paid homage to the setting. It came together so naturally. The Ritz is already absolutely stunning. When I was in university in Paris, we would go to the Hemingway or Ritz Bars… and I would always peek into the garden for a quick look. It was really the only place I ever had a brief thought of “I would get married here” in my life. And so, I did.”
The Ritz also held special memories for our bride, as it was the place that her mother would stay at while she would visit her daughter, who was living in Paris at the time. Sadly our brides mother would pass away, yet her vibrant spirit was still felt there in the corridors of The Ritz. So our bride knew that her mother was still there with her on her big day.
“Also, the Ritz is a tribute to my mother (who passed away in 2015)… as she always loved swimming in the Ritz pool when she would come to visit me while I lived in Paris. I feel her spirit there.”
