Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild Wedding Photographer

Charlotte & Laurence had a luxurious wedding at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. It was full of laughter and fashion style posing! I was immediately seduced by the beauty of this venue.  The villa is located in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

We saw a cold front come in that weekend with a chance of rain predicted. Which is a little strange for the south of France in September. Their reception was held inside rather than the planned outside dining. But thankfully plan B; having dinner inside was equally as fabulous.  The Villa’s interior is equally as jaw-dropping and made for a totally stunning dining setting. Luckily the rain held off and in fact, we saw some lovely sunshine too. Having a plan B is always a good idea! 🙂

These childhood sweethearts met at school aged 15, it took Laurence 17 years to propose, but for Charlotte it was worth the wait. Therefore I’ll let Charlotte begin their love story:  ”We were at school together but two very different people. Laurence was nurturing his entrepreneurial spirit should we say, by selling Lolly Pops on the playground. I was the goody-two shoes running past him trying to get to class early. I was asked to be in a school fashion show with Mike his Brother and in a ‘Kate & Wills’ type scenario and Laurence took an interest…”
