An Indian Wedding France at a French Chateau

Like all Indian weddings, this one was a vibrant, culture-rich festivity full of celebration and tradition. Two families join together for an Indian wedding in France at a gorgeous French Chateau. A & A decided to have their Indian wedding at Le Mas de Montet Chateau.

I am in love with their details, the vibrant colours, and intrigued by these sacred Indian wedding traditions. The fusion of french country and vibrant Indian culture was such a beautiful mix.

The bride wore a stunning blue gown for the traditional ceremony in the daytime and changed into a modern wedding dress for the evening reception. Traditionally brides wear a red dress for an Indian ceremony, however as this was the 2nd ceremony in France, our bride chose this gorgeous french blue colour. 

Henna is applied to the bride during a mehndi ceremony held the day before the wedding day.  Customarily, attended only by the female wedding guests.
