I’m excited to share a gorgeous pre-wedding photoshoot in Paris. FF & S traveled all the way from China to capture their dream pre-wedding moments ahead of their wedding next year. We began the day at the opulent Ritz Paris Hotel, setting the tone for an elegant and romantic shoot. From there, we explored some of Paris’s most iconic locations, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, a charming Parisian café, Pont Alexandre III, and the city’s famous blue doors.
The weather was absolutely perfect, providing dreamy backdrops for a day filled with glamorous outfits and undeniable romance. It was truly a celebration of love and style in the city of lights!

The Eiffel Tower – At the Trocadero Location: For this incredible soft light producing these beautiful colours, we were up at sunrise which in October meant starting around 8am 🙂 I love September and October for Paris Photoshoots because the sun doesn’t rise too early – which means you don’t have to be up at 3am to start your hair and make-up!! You get such gorgeous light and it’s perfect weather… meaning it’s not too hot nor too cold. Sunrise or just after is the best time to avoid crowds.
I recommend hiring a chauffeured van for your photoshoot (I can recommend an excellent company!). This allows the entire team—clients, photographer, hair and makeup artists, and assistants—to travel together smoothly and comfortably. For this shoot, we all met at The Ritz Paris, where my clients were staying, and started our day from there.
My clients used their suite at The Ritz for outfit changes, which added a touch of luxury and convenience to the experience. I carefully planned the timeline to accommodate three outfit changes without excessive back-and-forth, ensuring we maximized our time at each location while maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable pace.
A private van also made transitions between spots seamless, offering a space for quick touch-ups and keeping everything on schedule—a must for a stress-free day!
One of my favorite parts of a Paris photoshoot is capturing moments at a classic Parisian café. This setting is more than just a picturesque backdrop—it’s an experience that embodies the charm and romance of Paris. With its iconic bistro chairs, charming facades, and bustling atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for timeless, storybook-worthy photos.
I love incorporating this stop into the shoot because it allows my clients to take a moment to relax, connect, and enjoy the experience. Sipping a coffee or indulging in a flaky croissant makes for candid and authentic shots that feel intimate and truly Parisian. It’s a chance to slow down, pose naturally, and enjoy a quintessentially French treat amidst the magic of the city.
The Louvre is an absolute masterpiece of architecture, offering an awe-inspiring backdrop for photoshoots. Once a royal palace, its grand design is steeped in history, showcasing majestic arches, intricate details, and its world-famous glass pyramid.
You just need to select the grand and yet timeless dress to complete the look!
Pont Alexandre III is the epitome of Parisian glamour and one of the most romantic spots in the city. Its ornate lampposts, gilded statues, and stunning views of the Seine and Eiffel Tower make it an iconic location for timeless photos.
Whether bathed in the warm glow of sunrise or illuminated by twinkling evening lights, Pont Alexandre III offers a truly cinematic setting. The combination of its grandeur and stunning views ensures elegant photographs that capture the magic of Paris.
The iconic Parisian blue doors are a hidden gem for photoshoots with zero crowds to contend with! Their beautiful color contrasts beautifully with the soft, romantic tones of this couple’s outfits, and makes for a truly Parisian backdrop.
What an incredible pre-wedding photoshoot in Paris. I love photographing pre-weddings like this!
If you would like to avoid crowds… lesser-known spots, such as Montmartre, Jardin des Tuileries, or the Seine River banks, are beautiful and iconic for couples seeking something different.
